The Story of Rachel and
Leah
- Jacob goes to Haran seeking Laban
- A group of shepherds point of Rachel with Laban's sheep
to Jacob
- Jacob rolls away the stone from the well and waters
Rachel's sheep
- Jacob kisses Rachel and tells her he is her father's brother,
son of Rebekah
- Laban embraces Jacob and brings him into his house
- Jacob agrees to serve Laban for seven years in exchange
for his daughter Rachel
- After seven years, Laban gives Leah in marriage to
Jacob rather than Rachel
- Jacob serves Laban for an additional seven years in
exchange for Rachel
- Rachel and Jacob are married
- Jacob loves Rachel more than her sister Leah.
- Leah gives birth to six sons while Rachel is barren
- The servant of Rachel, Bilhah, gives birth to two sons
- The servant of Leah, Zilpah gives birth to two sons
- God remembers Rachel and she gives birth to Joseph
- On the way from Bethel, Rachel gives birth to Benjamin and dies during labor.

The Story of Potiphar's
Wife
- Joseph is sold to Potiphar
- God blesses Joseph and his master's house
- Joseph becomes the head servant and is entrusted with
all his master owns
- Potiphar's wife invites Joseph to lie with her
- Joseph refuses to lie with Potiphar's wife
- Potiphar's wife grabs onto Joseph's garment and again
asks him to lie with her
- Joseph again refuses and Potiphar's wife keeps the
garment
- Potiphar's wife tells the men of the house that Joseph
tried to lie with her and shows them his garment
- Potiphar returns and his wife tells him that Joseph
tried to lie with her and shows him Joseph’s garment
- Potiphar is outraged and has Joseph imprisoned
